To be eligible to receive this grant your business must be trading. For the purposes of this grant scheme, a business is considered to be trading if it is engaged in business activity.
This should be interpreted as carrying on a trade or profession or buying and selling goods or services in order to generate turnover. Fully constituted businesses in liquidation, dissolved, struck off or subject to a striking-off notice are not eligible under these conditions.
An employee is defined as a person who has received remuneration from your company in the last 6 months and who has a full-time or part-time contract of employment to work for your company and is paid under the HMRC PAYE scheme.
Examples of evidence in support of this point include payroll or personnel records. Please redact names of employees, home address, DOB, NI numbers - job titles will be sufficient if providing supporting documentation.

Your reference number will be displayed after you have submitted your application and will also be on your confirmation email.
The Council determines fixed costs to be: payment of rent, lease or licence for business premises, service charges, other licenses, insurance and utilities but NOT staffing costs, costs relating to domestic premises or rent paid as a percentage of takings.
The evidence you send must demonstrate and include the total actual fixed cost to the business for December 2021.
Examples of proof in support of this point include, but are not limited to: a signed lease agreement, signed licence agreement, signed rental agreement or invoices for premises fixed costs.
Please provide details of the bank account associated with the business. This is the account which the grant will be paid into should your application be successful and be the same account you have submitted a bank statement for.

Grants under these 3 allowances can be combined for a potential total allowance of up to £12,235,000 (subject to exchange rates).
